Our wide range of after school clubs have begun again and Sitwell University is as popular as ever! This term we are offering Year 1 and year 2 children lots of new skills to learn including Lego Creators, Model Makers, Papercraft Creators, Recorder Players, Circus Performers, French Speakers, Knitters & Sewers and Computer Coders. Children will be collecting stamps on their Passport to Learning and these will be counted up at the end of the Spring term. We will then be holding a special Graduation event for all children who have gained enough stamps for a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate. Lots of children last year achieved a Platinum award for attending every single week! We hope we have many more of those this year!
Our 'Let's Get Cooking' club will continue to run for Year 2 children each half term. Children need to sign up as there is a waiting list for each new half term. This is now running every Thursday, from 3.15-4.30pm and is also run by school staff.
Every half term, we also arrange for a PE coach to come in and run an after school club. This half term is World Cup Football and after October half term we will be learning Karate. The clubs are a great way to improve your children's health and fitness and they learn so many new skills along the way too!
If you would like your child to be placed in a club, please speak to a member of staff in the office. Have a look at our 'Breakfast Club' section to find out about our provision before the school day begins.
