Sport Relief - April 2018

We had a wonderful day on Friday 23rd April to raise funds for Sports Relief. We all came dressed up in our sports gear and we completed at least a mile around ours and the Junior School grounds. It was lots of fun and we were really happy to see so many of our grown ups from the community come to join us! Thank you for your generous donations - we raised over £160 altogether!!

I love Reading Month - March 2018

World Book Day was the start of our reading celebration this year - we launched our I Love Reading month - and Mrs Peart has challenged all the children in school to read every day in March (but there are some funny twists!) We had a lovely first day back at school on 9th April in our PJs to celebrate all of the wonderful reading we have been doing!

Please find below pictures of children who sent pictures in to show they are doing the challenge! We also had lots of lovely pictures tweeted to us on Twitter! Thank you for your continued support.

Superhero Disco!

Our fabulous PTA organised a wonderful Superhero Disco during the last week of this half term. There were lots of heroes around, including Batman and BatGirl! We had a great time, with lots of games and dancing through the night!

Christmas Dinner

We had a great time at our annual Christmas dinner in school, and we even wore our Christmas jumpers for the day too!

Professor Shell Magic Show!

We had a visit from our very good friend, Professor Shell, on the 5th December. He came to school to put on a special show for us! It was so much fun, we laughed for nearly the whole hour!! We had a bun and a drink too. Take a look below at some of the fabulous pictures from our show.

Elf Dash for Bluebell Wood Hospice

Friday 1st December was lots of fun! We had decided to take part in the Elf Dash to raise vital funds for one of the charities we support as a school, Bluebell Wood Hospice. The charity very kindly sent through the elf hats for all children and adults and we had a great time dashing around the playground and field. Mrs Peart got on the roof to take some photos of us in our wonderful elf hats! It was very exciting. Here are some photos from the special morning. Thank you to those parents who stayed at school and completed the dash with us!

Anti-Bullying Week & Odd Sock Day

We had a brilliant week during Anti-Bullying Week; learning about how we can be kind to one another and how our words and actions can impact on other people. We learned a new song that we performed with Mrs FJ as she launched the week. We also had a wonderful competition to design an odd sock puppet and Mrs Peart could not believe how many entries we had. They were all amazing! Thank you for your continued support.
