Coffee Morning
Sun 24 Apr 2016Our first coffee morning will be held in school on Friday 29th April from 9am. Everyone is welcome to come and meet new people, make new friends or just generally have a catch up with other parents. Mrs Peart, Mrs Richmond and Mrs Khan will also be around, should you have any queries or questions about school stuff! Young children are very welcome, and there will be a selection of toys and books for them to play with while the grown ups are chatting! We have also booked in our next Coffee Morning for Monday 23rd May. Hopefully, the morning will be a lovely time for all. Please feel welcome to join us. -
F2 Visit to Butterfly House
Sun 24 Apr 2016Classes 6, 7 and 8 will be visiting the wonderful Butterfly House on Wednesday 27th April, which will enhance their learning about growth this half term. As always, parents and carers are very welcome to come along on the visit with us. Speak to your child's class teacher if you are able to volunteer some of your time. Also, please make sure children do not bring a packed lunch from home if you have ordered one from the kitchen as we had several wasted sandwiches on our last visit. Thank you. -
Y2 SATs Meeting for Parents
Thu 14 Apr 2016We have organised a special meeting for parents on Wednesday 20th April at 9am about the upcoming Year 2 Standard Attainment Tests (SATs). We will go through what the tests entail, give you some examples of what questions your children will be expected to answer and talk about how both you as parents and us as a school can best support your children through this time. If you want to attend, please let Mrs Roper or Mrs Darkin know in the office. Thank you. -
Parent Voice/PTA Meeting
Thu 14 Apr 2016Our next meeting is 9am on Monday 18th April
Please come and join us in the staff room for a chat about our upcoming annual Summer Fair. We need as many parents as possible to share their ideas and give their time to make this event amazing! All proceeds go back into school, so this is a real opportunity for you to make a difference to your child's education. Lots of important decisions will be made, but in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I will also be sharing our new Handwriting Policy and discussing how Phonics is taught in school. We hope to see you there!
