Summer Fayre
Wed 21 Jun 2023After the fantastic success of our Easter event, we have planned our Summer Fayre! We will be holding this on Friday 7th July in the school playground/field. We hope lots of you can make it!
The fayre will begin at 2.30pm and end at 4pm. You are able to collect your child at 2.30pm to enjoy the fair together. Any children who are not able to be collected at this earlier time will stay in school until the end of the day with school staff.
Please take a read through the Rainbow Stall picture as this tells you the colour that your child is wearing and donating items in for this stall!
Thank you for your continued support.

Hot weather advice
Sun 18 Jun 2023☀️ Hot Weather: Be Aware! ☀️
Hot weather advice – Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council
However tempting it may be during periods of hot weather, members of the public are reminded not to go swimming in open water, in reservoirs, rivers or canals, even if the water looks calm.
If you do find yourself entering the water unexpectedly:
- Take a minute. The initial effects of cold water pass in less than a minute so don’t try to swim straight away.
- Relax and float on your back to catch your breath. Try to get hold of something that will help you float.
- Keep calm then call for help or swim for safety if you’re able.
Stay safe, stay out of the water.
We need to help promote a strong message about KEEPING SAFE IN THE SUN and OPEN WATER WARNING. Cold water is not just a risk for winter.
Know about Cold water shock - The effect on the body of entering water 15°C and below is often underestimated. This shock can be the precursor to drowning. More information here >> Cold Water Shock - Water Safety Tips - Know The Risks (rnli.org)
