Pyjama Party Disco - 16th November 2023
Tue 17 Oct 2023We are planning to hold our first PTA event for this year - a pyjama party disco! The disco will be held on Thursday 16th November, which coincides with one of our Parent Evening sessions. Please see the attached poster for full information. Tickets for younger siblings can also be purchased, but please note that older children cannot attend. This is the first PTA event for our youngest children and we want to make sure they are not overwhelmed by older children from the junior school.
We will be selling tickets via your School Money account. If you would like to purchase a ticket, please ring or email the office on the contact details below to organise this. We will then add the payment to your school money account. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please note - at this event it is a requirement for an adult to stay with their child for the full event.

The Big Ambition - questionnaire for children
Mon 18 Sep 2023The Children’s Commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, has launched The Big Ambition to hear directly from children and young people about what they want from Government.
The Big Ambition is a new campaign to ensure that children and young people are at the heart of the political debate so their voices help shape decisions that will impact their futures.Dame Rachel wants The Big Ambition to be the most ambitious and comprehensive survey ever to capture children and young people's voices. This is a critical moment as we approach the next General Election to make sure that children and young people’s voice and needs are heard by Government and policymakers.
You can complete the survey with your child by following the link below:

Visit to Cleethorpes - Thursday 14th September
Tue 12 Sep 2023All children in Rose, Tulip, Bluebell, Poppy & Snowdrop classes will be visiting Cleethorpes on Thursday this week. As the weather has changed significantly, please make sure to send them with a coat. We are hoping it will be dry and fine on Thursday but you just never know - keep your fingers crossed for us!
Children must wear their school cardigan or jumper, but can wear something comfortable such as leggings or joggers on the bottom. We will be doing lots of walking, so please make sure they wear comfortable shoes, preferably trainers.
Some of the visit will be spent on the beach. Children need to bring a small towel for them to sit on the beach on, and a bucket and spade if you have one! Please pop these items into a small rucksack that the children can carry with them on the day as we do not have anywhere to store them.
If you did not order a school packed lunch by Monday (earlier this week), you will need to send a packed lunch from home. If you have ordered a school lunch, please do not send one from home as we do not want to be wasting food unnecessarily. As we have some children with significant allergies in these classes, please ensure you do not send any items in your child's packed lunch that have nuts in them.
As stated in the letter sent out in July, children will leave school at 9.15am prompt but will not be returning to school until 4.30pm. Please ensure children are picked up from the playground at this later time.
If you have any questions, please just ask. Thank you for your continued support.
