Mobile phones on school property
Mon 10 Feb 2025We have noticed recently that more and more parents are using mobile phones on the school property. We are a mobile free school, which means that parents are not permitted to use mobile phones on school property.
Please ensure that when you are dropping children off, picking them up or you are in school for an event, your mobile phone is out of sight and is not being used. Staff will ask parents to put mobile phones away if we see you are using them on school property.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Medical Appointments
Sun 19 Jan 2025The government have recently changed the guidelines regarding attendance and we wanted to share this with you. A change has been made regarding children being absent first thing in the morning for a medical appointment. We are no longer able to change the child's mark from Medical to a present mark, and this means that your child will have an absence marked on this day. This counts in their attendance figures.
Where possible, we are requesting that you do not book appointment for first thing in the morning as this negatively impacts your child's attendance and the school attendance as a whole. Please try to book dentist or doctors appointments after school, or towards the end of the school day as this means your child will have got their marks for the day.
Thank you for your continued support with your child's attendance. -
