Wraparound Care @ Sitwell Infants
We are delighted to be able to offer full wraparound provision for the children at Sitwell Infant School. We know many parents need support with childcare for their child outside of the formal school day.
Please find information below about our Breakfast Club & Tea Club, as well as a copy of the Prospectus and the wraparound care contract, which all parents have to sign before their child begins to use these services.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club runs every morning during term time from 7.45 - 8.45am, at a cost of £3 per child per day. It is run by fully qualified school staff who also work within the school setting which helps the children feel more at ease and is also reassuring to parents that they know who is caring for their children.
The children are offered a breakfast of cereal/toast/crumpets/yoghurts and a drink of milk, juice or water. A range of activities are provided for the children to keep them busy before the school day begins. We ask that children are here by 8.00am at the latest if they require breakfast.
At the end of Breakfast Club (8.45am) the children are taken to class by school staff, this gives parents the reassurance that the children are being safely handed over to their class teachers ready for the school day to begin.
Booking for Breakfast Club must be done in advance and paid for at least one week in advance. From April 2025, parents will be able to book their child a place through our new Arbor app and payment system.
Tea Club
Our Tea Club will run every day during term time, from 3.15pm. Parents can collect their child at a time to suit them with the last collection at 5.45pm. The cost for the session is £10 per day. Please note that this is the same charge, regardless of the time you collect your child.
It is run by fully qualified school staff who also work within the school setting which helps the children feel more at ease and is also reassuring to parents that they know who is caring for their children.
The children will be offered a drink and snack and a range of activities will be provided for the children to keep them happy and busy during the club.
At the end of Tea Club the children will need to be collected by a named adult; if this is not a parent this information must be given in advance to the school office as safeguarding is our priority.
