On this page you will find lots of information about our outstanding school. 

We are a larger than average sized infant school, with capacity for 222 children from Foundation Stage 2 to Year 2. We have a three form entry into Foundation Stage 2 with a standard intake number of 75 children, which may rise or fall within the year. 

We are situated in a residential part of Rotherham, close to the motorway, General Hospital and town centre. We are fortunate to share a pleasant and extensive site with Sitwell Junior School, with whom we have close liaison; this helps us provide a continuity of education for children from 4-11 years. We are very proud to be a diverse and multi-cultural school, with over 20 languages represented!

Our building is mainly single storey with 8 classrooms off one central corridor. Each classroom is well organised and resourced, has bright and colourful displays of the children's work and is also equipped with state of the art touch screens. We have a central working area along the corridor, which houses our resources, reading books and work areas, plus a space used for role play. We hold a number of awards including Parent Charter Gold, ArtsMark Gold, Modeshift Stars Silver award, Healthy School Silver award, Music Mark, Healthy Schools, Bronze Rights Respecting and we are very proud to have held the Basic Skills Quality Mark for over 10 years!

We have a full set of laptops, which are used for whole class and small group teaching; as well as 15 iPads which are used daily to enhance teaching and learning across all subjects. The large hall easily accommodates all the children for assemblies, P.E., and lunch. Our Foundation Stage has a fantastic outdoor learning space which is well equipped to support all the areas of learning, enabling our very youngest children to learn in a variety of ways.
