Permanent, Part Time, 27.5 hours per week, Term time plus 3 weeks during school holidays.
Contract weeks are 42 per year.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible Caretaker to join the team based at Sitwell Infant School, Grange Road, Rotherham S60 3LA
This is a permanent post working a split shift of 27.5 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks during school holidays.
Daily working times are 6.30 am - 9am and 3.00 pm - 6.00 pm (with the requirement to be flexible to cover meetings when required).
The post holder will ensure the security, safety, cleanliness, maintenance and repair of Council Buildings, this will include being a key holder.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Ability to carry out routine repair work to buildings.
- Ability to carry out cleaning tasks in-line with cleaning specifications.
- Experience of working in building and site maintenance.
- An understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of building security.
- Experience of working with trades people & contractors.
- Excellent numeracy & literacy skills.
There will also be a requirement for emergency cover on occasion.
