As a finale for our reading half term, we have some special visitors that are coming into school on Thursday to work with the children! We are very excited to welcome back Liz Million, a wonderful author and illustrator. Liz visited school last year and was absolutely amazing! This year, she is bringing her friend and poet along too! Paul Cookson will be part of the day, performing and working with each class to create some wonderful poems!

Paul has a book available for children to buy on the day - Pants on Fire! This is priced at £3 and if you would like your child to purchase one, please send in the correct amount in a small envelope or money bag and we will make sure they get a copy. 

 

We will also be celebrating Alf's 4th birthday on this day - his birthday is actually in the holidays so we always celebrate it on the final day before we break up. I am sure it will be a fun filled day!
